ARIAH welcomes new members on a rolling basis. To be eligible for membership, an institution must be dedicated to the study of art history, visual culture, museum studies, or a related discipline. The institution must hold regular academic programming that supports advanced research in the history of art and architecture and related fields in the humanities and social sciences, while also maintaining a fellowship program for scholars, curators, artists, and those interested in pursuing advanced research in the arts.
The benefits of membership include: opportunities to build collaborative partnerships across research institutes, introduction to a network of administrators working across the Americas, eligibility to host and participate in our undergraduate Careers in Art History internship program, access to resources on supporting residencies in the visual arts, and invitations to join the bi-yearly meetings to discuss topical questions relevant to the visual arts.
If you are interested in membership, please fill out and submit the form below. Once your membership has been confirmed, we will include your information in our directory, and we will reach out for the annual dues of $300.00.
